Mobile Infirmary: "This hospital has the worst ER in the Mobile area. I suggest Providence Hospital. Kind caring staff and they allow 1 person per patient. Mobile Infirmary has declined to the point that I any of the other hospitals to them " - Leanne

Mobile Infirmary: "My family member arrived to the ER today, around 11 am. It is currently after 8 pm, and we have not received any update regarding his care. My family member has a disability and is unable to effectively communicate. We have called the ER several times trying to receive an update from the triage nurse, Marsha. On one attempt we spoke with Ms. Connie, who stated she would obtain an update from Nurse Marsha. We have not received a call from either one. We understand that the ER staff are busy, and we are in a very difficult situation. It doesn’t take long to provide family with an update. Nurses should be advocates for patient, especially those who aren’t able to effectively communicate for themselves.
After making several attempts to speak with Marsha, she returned my call. When I answered the phone, I could hear her yelling at someone else. When addressing me, she was very abrasive and rude. She told me that her manager is Kelly Hicks.
I understand that healthcare workers are stressed, but nurses like Marsha should not be caring for patients. " - Amanda
