Methodist Charlton Medical Center: "My wife spent five days there in March 2023 and the hospital sent her home with a life threatening condition. She went into cardiac arrest five days later and died four days after that. Her cause of death was hyperkalemia which what the hospital treated her for the prior week.We did not get any warning about this condition nor did we receive any medication. This is a terrible hospital that rushes patient’s out of the hospital to make room for new patients." - Terence

Methodist Charlton Medical Center: "Unfortunately, I had to visit methodist when I checked in I had to wait about a hr the first time they called me nack to do vitals my heart rate was 165 and temperature 105 they sent me back out to the waiting room for 4 hours no where to sit body aching can't breathe etc. Eventually My husband walked in after finally getting off of work and they told him there is no extra people can be in the waiting room remind you everybody has somebody except little ole me with 165 heart rate and temperature of 105. Finally after waiting 5 hours in the waiting room they finally put me in a room started my meds the doctor began to argue me down because I exchanged words with the front desk because my husband could not come in I was asking questions about my health & my x-rays & he was basically just like yea were going to give you this but you see the xray it's pretty much self explanatory so I start asking about my symptoms how long would I have to wait to do so & so & just wasn't given any direct answers or being informative. They also had insert a IV line in my arm when they first called me back to check my vitals & sent me back to waiting area so about 5 hours. The nurse attempted to use that same IV Line & after I told him it hurts he needs to do a new stick because this has been in my arm since I first checked into the ER 5 hours he continued to attempt to flush until the liquids went in to my arm & my arm bulged up just for him to say yea you need a new IV. It Was just a horrible experience Sat in the waiting for 5 hours just to be charged within 1 hr 30 min. I knew I shouldn't have went back from the time before when the front desk was so rude to this lady she was begging for a Dr & they kept ignoring her telling her she have to wait & she start having a seizure right in the ER because they wouldn't help her when she begged them. It's just a bad experience you'll be better off going elsewhere. " - Kristina
