Mercy Hospital Fairfield: "The hospital is so busy that a patient with an ECG showing heart blockage ( my husband ) has been waiting in the waiting room for about 6 hours after triage. If this doesn't scream " the heath care system is too stressed " I don't know what does. " - Amanda

Mercy Hospital Fairfield: "This hospital is in serious need of communication with the Dr. that provide care there. My mother's Doctor's (Richard B. Fries II) office set up an appointment for a CAT scan. A 5:30pm appointment and at 5:30 we were told that we may have to reschedule because all the people in the lab left at 5:30. We proceeded to be kept waiting for almost 3 hours for a scan that took 10 minutes. Next an appointment was made to do a "blood study" to begin on Monday. This appointment was cancelled by the hospital at 5pm on Friday so now we don't know if the Doctors office is even aware of the cancellation due to the fact no one is in until Monday morning after the time the study was supposed to already be started. I beginning to think there is more of a problem here than we are being told. Possibly an infection that was caused by this hospital and it's staff? I will be getting legal advice on how to proceed and how to actually get answers to the many question that keep being avoided and dismissed." - Sheila
