Mayo Clinic Health System In Waycross: "I have never been treated so bad at mayo health system in Waycross ga. The Dr. didn't know what he was doing and should have just stabilized me and shipped to me to someone who did. The Dr. had to be forced to come in and I sat in the ER. all day until late at night when they finally decided to operate the nurses in the operating room were rude and nasty and didn't really want to be there late at night I came out of surgery at 1 AM and went to a room an then was released in the morning at which time there was a pop in my elbow but they didn't seem to care just sent me home . Now this is where it gets interesting I had to go to a dr that they chose not one I chose and then the trouble really started. They waited 10 days to ex Ray my right hand as I had been telling them something was wrong from day one but they kept giving excuses until I really got mad then after10 days they crated it and guess what it was broke just like I said .I was then told it was to late to do anything about it so they gave me a wrist brace for a hand brake. I also told them something was wrong with my shoulder and left hand to no avail they did finally x rayed them and saw nothing broke but decided to do a cat scan with dye and low n behold the tendons had been damaged. Now this is several weeks after my accident and it gets even better. I went to theropy and things were getting worse so theropy said go back to dr we can't work on you something is wrong .so I did but the dr REFUSED to see me . because she was to busy (REALLY) I was sent there not by my choose I had no choice. They called me and told me she didn't have time to see me so I aske about the test and sure enough the screw had pulled out of the elbow and the ligaments were damanaged in wrist just like I said but the didn't care . So had to pull records to go to another dr and they did X-rays and instantly saw the problems and gave me a shot in shoulder and sent me to a special ortho man who specialized in elbows and wrists . Now I have had a second surgery and when this dr open up the elbow it fell apart . Had to cut off Bone and a lot of work to make it right still waiting on wrist . 6 months into this now because mayo health system in Waycross didn't do there jobs correctly and they don't even care they just want there money and could care less about there patience. The dr is a real joke I will not ever use either of the places again and I advise anyone else to be very careful or you may be very very sorry just like me " - Marion
