Memorial Medical Center: "I have never had such a bad experience. Got to back right away. Pain left rib area, dizziness, heart racing and skipping, pain going to shoulder blade. Heart rate anywhere from 150 to 140s. Go inthe 150/80 range. Have pacemaker? Was told my heart rate and my tachycardia ect was due to my interstem for my bladder. Well number One, my interstem was not on!!! Number two, they should have called and got my pacemaker read. They did not. Number three they should have known that ekg readings are not accurate with pacemaker. Knowing I had heart problems they should have also called on call cardio! Again no. Was given Ct for pain in rib area and besides ekg that was it! Doctor wouldn't even look me in the eye. I have never felt so discriminated against! Have med card as am disabled. Feel like I was just dismissed and said to hell with. Oh yes did I mention vomiting? Discourages me from ever going to ER!! Came home took my nitro and made it thru the night, just barely. Probably die from heart attack at home because why go to emergency when they dismiss you." - Deborah
