Memorial Medical Center: "Roomed I’m in ED @1208. My sister was having a 10/10 abdominal pain. Initial pain meds given at 1320. No relief after 30 mins but no action from staff. My sister was still at 10/10 pain. We finally saw MD at 1448 after 2 1/2 hrs of waiting. Aware of 10/10 pain. RN came at 1515 for second round of pain meds, still no relief after 30 mins. Asked staff for the plan. They said waiting for CT scan. They only have 1 scanner open. I know hospitals specially the ED is busy but I don’t understand why they can let somebody lie down there in pain and not do anything to help her. I also an ED RN bit I always address pt’s concern on a timely manner." - Jan
