Marshall County Hospital Stories

Marshall County Hospital: "ER is terrible - often no md there only ARNP with no onsite supervision. Nurses laughing and joking on phones not working. Patients left in rooms for hours without anyone checking on them. MD's consistently refuse to give pain medications no matter how high your BP is due to pain. Does not follow infectious disease protocols. Not knowledgeable about diseases in general and does not take patient history into consideration. Go there to die. ICU somewhat better but most of the hospitalists are very poor to say the best - only one with any knowledge at all. AC - nurses loud, do not observe HIPPA rules, do not follow infection control guidelines - poor care of central lines and inability to properly access and clean. Multiple med errors. Don't go there." - Kate
