Lowell General Hospital: " I would rather die before I ever go back to this hospital. The satff are so rude and inexperienced..My wife and I was in a car accident and kept us waiting in the waiting room for hours and then brought us in to tell us to lay on a bed in the hallway while they rolled trash barrels done the hall.. The er assistant doctor was rude ,dirty and loud" - Thomas

Lowell General Hospital: "Reading through past reviews it would seem the ER service has gotten much worse in terms of wait time. My niece came in at 8pm and its now 2:30am and still waiting to see a physician. I heard some folks have been waiting 11 hours. Doesnt appear theres anyone responsible for running the ER and this location is not capable of providing the level of service expected of a modern day ER or urgent care. My recommendation is to avoid this place if at all possible. If not be prepared and bring a lot of patience along with a change of clothes, sleeping gear, and food." - LUKE

Lowell General Hospital: "I have undergone several angioplasties in the last THIRTY years. Check the date of my last one.
Because of the insurance coverage I pay for, I am not billed except for a copay of $50. However,
I was billed by one of your employees for $1,520.00. Show me that you are really as good as you claim to be by cancelling this unjustified billing."

Lowell General Hospital: "We came to hospital with our 2 year old at 10pm. Still waiting at 2:30 to see a doctor. Nurses in ER have really callous attitude. They are saying it’s my decision to leave but they can’t even take a glance at my 2 year old." - Sean

Lowell General Hospital: "waiting for almost 2 hours my 76 year old mother in pain with infection. Finally went up to ask why so long it's because there are no rooms. The emergency room was empty so not right to have elderly waiting. Something should be done so not a good place to go when ur sick." - JeM

Lowell General Hospital: "Norm Deschane,
my 80 year old mother in-law was brought to Lowell general at 10:30pm by ambulance with a ruptured vein in her leg. She lost about two pints of blood prior to arriving. I would like someone to explain WHY at 2:30 AM she would be sitting in the lobby still waiting to be seen. The front desk should not be the one to determine the urgency of a patients health. This has to be the worst and most unorganized emergency room I have ever seen. They have fifty individual rooms in the new wing of the hospital!!!!!! Top 100 places to work?????"

Lowell General Hospital: "Awful ER
My daughter who's 4 months pregnant with abdominal pain was there for 6 hours and walked out without being seen!
Quality, integrity and service is not what you provide!
A nurse admittedly lied to her by saying you're next to get her to stay is disgraceful!

You need to look at the people suffering and take care of them. That's your job!
If your understaffed tell people to go to another facility if you can't handle them in a timely manner and update your policies!

Your commitment statement should be read everyday by everyone in your staff prior to working their shift to remind them of their obligations!

Until you change the no one should go to you facility!"
