Lovelace Women's Hospital: "The ER on McMann is an urgent care with primarily nurse practioners charging dr fees? A NP spent 5 minutes with me about my need for adequate pain reflief. she said it was not acute. she refused to read my nerve conduction studies that referenced axonal pain, sensory ataxia which I have had for over 9 years. she offered me one htdrocodone and tyylenol#3. My pain is debilitating and interferes with my daily activities. She did not want to hear anything. They obly rx expensive pharm. oxycodone 5 mg is all I need. Refused. She said they were paying for the meficine. Oxycodone is much less costly than Tramadol which I had serious side effects. Nursing and ER has become a heartless and non personable experience. Suggest you save yourmoney. only street addicts csn get pain relief. They have poor leadership of the Board of Medicine. Florida has guidelines that are humaritarian. NM Board refuses to look at Floridas doctors guidelines. I heard they want euthansia in NM. Kill off pain patients as the pain is real and worse at noc. They are profit making medixal care." - Judith

Lovelace Women's Hospital: "Worst experience of my life; got to the ER about 9am. It was 3pm when I left, hadn't been seen yet!! Experienced a young girl miscarrying and bleeding, They gave her a pad and told her to sit down!!! Her dad was screaming at the staff, Sooo wrong on so many levels. I have never seen such little regard for patients in my life!!! " - Arlene

Lovelace Women's Hospital: "I will never bring my husband back to the ER here. My husbands Dr. Sent us to the ER because his oxygen level was low and heart rate was high he was having a difficult time breathing. We have always gone to UNM Hospital but she said loveless emergency room will get him in quicker. What a joke, they stick us in a room, gives him oxygen and leave us there for two hours before anyone came in. There's no calling button anywhere in the ER room. My husband had to go to the bathroom, he's a high fall risk so I go out to look for help, the only person I could find to help was a paramedic who happened to be walking by. He helped my husband to the bathroom and back and not one person on duty noticed he had taken off his oxygen to go to the bathroom. The dr finally came in after already being here for two hours and after three hrs my husband finally gets his first elf and blood drawn. Four hours into this nightmare, they take him for a cat scan. We are now coming on our 7th hour and we haven't been told anything. This is the worst ER we have been to." - Lorinda
