Lonesome Pine Hospital Stories

Wellmont Lonesome Pine Hospital: "I have never in my life been so insulted by a group of nurses like I did tonight at lonesome pine ER. I was treated as if I was lying, just there seeking pain medication, and as an uneducated individual. I asked for a pillow 3 times before a nurse finally got so aggravated said "ok" rolled her eyes and got one. The doctor himself was so aggravated by me asking simple questions he just turned plain rude. The nurses at one point were in a group whispering about my "attitude" when I never had one until I got an attitude from one for asking for a PILLOW. My over-all experience was terrible I will NEVER go back. I'm a nursing student right now, currently in my last semester, I'm SO thankful I have been trained to treat people with respect no matter the circumstance. These people should go back and have a good teaching on how to treat "patients". " - Cait
