Lawrence Hospital Center Stories

Jan 07, 2020, 9:54 PM
Lawrence Hospital Center: "I came to the emergency room on January 5, 2020 at abpit 6 PM with stomach pain and fever and chills. The nurse, before any exams were done attempted to take blood. She didn't take enough before I was told later on that more blood needed to be taken. In addition, at the same time, she had trouble inserting a tube for future drip, not even knowing that it would be necessary. I am left with two black and blue marks on my arm that are about two inches long and over one inch wide. The tests later on were fine. I needed to ask for hot blankets even though I was shivering from the fever. I was so upset about this treatment that I asked them to release me from the hospital even though they hadn't enough information about wahat was wrong with me. It is now two days later and I am fine. Sending a nurse to me who appeared not to know what she was doing, many attemps in the same areas to get blood, was unacceptable. " - Natalie
