    Lake City Medical Center Stories

    Apr 20, 2022, 8:36 AM
Lake City Medical Center: "My Mom was an ER admit with a severe UTI and high calcium levels. She was on the 2nd floor ICU observation. My Mom is blind,I made them aware. She was not helped with meals or drink. Myself, my Brother, my Daughter reminded the staff of her blindness. When discharged, I brought her home only to discover she was scalded, raw from her rectum to her vagina.. She wasn't kept dry, only used the "wicking"device twice. I believe all ER staff, all medical staff could benefit in learning about geriatrics. " - Tara
