Kern Medical Center: "If you are high risk pregnancy be prepared to wait before being seen over 5hours every time. And god forbid if you are in a room waiting another hour and ask do you know when the Dr is coming in. Cause not one person will know you can have a hall full of staff at the clinic and not 1 will know anything. Be expected to be blown off. Given rudeness. And 5hour waits when the Dr finally showed up I asked what took so long her response is we lost your files. And we're trying to find it I'm like thinking how can I go missing when it was by the door hanging when I was put in the room. This was on my 3rd visit the 1st one I waited 5hours and given another person's files 2nd visit I went to there hospital lab with an appointment waited another 5hours because they needed to get a hold of the Dr who requested my test because it's so sloppy they can't read it I agreed the request had stuff circled crossed out scribbled over I was like my god what did I get myself into and it only got worse at there clinic. If you are high risk and have Kern family insurance don't let Dr lie and tell you Kern medical is your only option for check ups as I did more searching I found one not 1hour away but 10min just call around ask do you take high risk pregnancy if you are still early you may have better luck I did not give up and after 5 nightmare visits I finally found 1.google Drs and keep calling otherwise it maybe to late. Training hospitals and Clinic are dangerous to high risk they simply just don't give a damn you will be just a number and so will your baby. " - Dee

Kern Medical Center: "I'd rate it a zero this hospital is by far the worst there clinic 4 out of 5x I waited over 5hours to get my check up and I had a appointment and I'm high risk pregnancy. And Dr fok is by far the rudest Dr. I meet him once In my appointment I was ordered sit up lay down lift your stomach the gel for the ultrasound they blob it on and don't even assist in at least helping to wipe it when done and Dr fok tells me get up go sit down I was offered nothing to wipe the gel off with he was just plain out rude then to top it off I had an appointment and waited to see him over 3hours first time only time. My first visit when checking out was given another patient personal records I found this out when I drove home an hour later drive and the next day went to another hospital to get a ekg and there like this paperwork file isn't you. I had this patient name dob medical records test request status address all that I call Kern Medical clinic and there like oh sorry can you drive an hour away and bring it I'm like no I'm here trying to get a ekg with files not even mine can you fax mine please so I can get my ekg you all order" - Dee
