Iredell Memorial Hospital Inc: "Not to good, of an ER experience,at Iredell Memorial Hospital 557 Brookdale Drive Statesville,NC 28677 Tel# 704-873-5661. Discharge Papers did not state what I went there for, I told them, I had stomach pain and bloating, for many months, and when asked, I said, at the moment,pain was 3-5.But my Discharge Papers I read at home, said Diagnosis was Constipation;So I called ER and spoke with Brittny,early evening on the same day, of my ER Visit,on Sat Jan 7, 2023 I did mention Constipation to Dr's Etc at ER , but that was not my reason, for going to the ER, it was stomach pain and bloating,I said to her, on the phone. On 03/23/2019 from a CT Scan also done at ER of Irdell Memorial Hospital I was Diagnosised with Acute,Sigmoid Colon Diverticulitis with mild Peritonitis,she said, I don't have Diveticulitis and at the Hospital said, Diverticulosis is life long, not Diverticulitis,and that's not life long, I did some researh, that I already knew, and it's Diverticulitis, that generally is life long,not Diverticulosis, Also,they just put all my old medicationsand Vitamins in red letters saying Unchanged. I am not even on,some of these meds and or vitamins any more,she said, over phone, it's a glitch, in the system they can't change it take it out.At the ER they also never asked me what medications I am currently on and or what Vitamins,and what current allergies, I have.Discharge Vitals temperature (oral)said 97.9F but; they never took my Temperature, they did ask me if I had a temperature or did have any?Also, some workers were nasty, not nice. Now, I also know,staff has to work harder, because Davis Hospital, is now a Mental Hospital only;but ER at Iredell Memorial ER Room Hospital, was dirty and other patients trash was overflowing out of trash cans, not emptied.Thankyou for your time." - Gloria
