Hill Regional Hospital: "I loved the staff, up until today. I was told by the staff yesterday to come in today to have my newborn’s labs redone to make sure she doesn’t need to be readmitted. I had a c-section, so I was unable to drive meaning I had to send my husband alone. She only takes breastmilk, I sent him with some but the wait has been over an hour for a simple blood stick to make sure she isn’t on track to have BRAIN DAMAGE! I called up to the hospital and the nurse, Crystal was unbelievably unprofessional and told me, if I was “so concerned” that I should drive to a children’s hospital. EXCUSE ME BUT THAT IS RIDICULOUS, the hospital has no issues taking my money but they can’t do what they said they could. The nurse told me my husband and 4 day old baby should have been taken back to the lab as well, but she’s being forced to sit in a waiting room with sick people AFTER THEY BARKED AT ME ABOUT HOW IMPORTANT IT WAS TO KEEP HER FROM OTHERS IF THEY WERE SICK.
If it weren’t for my doctor and the Labor and delivery nurses being so amazing this past week, I would find another hospital." - Bianca
