Healtheast St John's Hospital: "i went to st. Johns on 8/17/21, i was in excruciating pain, everything from the waist down to my kneecaps, i was in a wheelchair, asked even tho i am waiting is there anywhere i can lay down to feel more comfortable, and was told no, i then asked if i can lay on the floor, and was told no because it was too dirty, after moaning and groaning in horrific pain, my friend asked for a 3rd time if someone can come check on me and they finally did and after a slight moment brought me back to a room, once in the room, the nurses were just trash people who really dont care about the patient, the nurse who was going to put the IV in my arm argued with me about where she was going to poke me, i told her im the patient, i know my body, and the best place to poke, the male nurse hooked up an EKG to me and put the stickers everywhere and left them on saying that he had to monitor my heart, which there was no reason to, untop of that, he didnt even take them off, i had to remove them when i got home, i asked for a cup of water, and he returns with a cup of ice and a spoon, i noticed a vial of my blood for a lab was laying on the counter top next to the computer, makes me wonder, as well the pain med that was supposed to be given to me via the IV, i dont believe she even gave it to me, because i was still in pain, the one thing that truly irritated me and made me the most mad, was that the reason i went in was for epididymitis, my entire pubic region was in pain, i could not touch my private area what so ever, it hurt too much, and i have explained this to all nurses, and every chance they had, they would, bump, hit, lay items on, or do something that would cause me more pain, and they would do it even though i was trying to guard my private area, the nurses would make snarky remarks, it just made me feel overall used and abused, and not cared about as a patient who was in serious need of assistance." - Charles
