Havasu Regional Medical Center: "Havasu ER wait times are more like 6-12 hours" - Nellie
Feb 15, 2018, 6:37 PM
Havasu Regional Medical Center: "The worst facility I have every been a part of. My father had a mild stroke. There isn't a neurosurgeon around, the internist had "babysitter issues". Tests were ordered at 8am and at 6:00pm the same nigh, nothing done. We requested for him to be released so we could get to Mayo Hospital in Phoenix and yet we still sit here waiting. Now told we can't leave, else Medicare won't pay the bill. We feel as though we are held hostage. And there isnt a specialist to even talk to. Apparently, we were going to have a video conference with a neurosurgeon today too.......hasn't happened. Instead the clock is ticking and my father is missing crucial time to heal, get a surgical consult and it's now close to the weekend. BEWARE! might be a good place for stitches......
Extremely dissatisfied and helpless......I am also not sure the threat that medicare won't pay is accurate.
