Hartford Hospital: "Walked in for mental health help and was treated like a criminal. Was left for 10 hours and no psych team ever came. I demanded discharge papers, they called police (4) of them. I told them I came here for help and yet I'm fearing for my safety. They are grossly incompetent. " - Theresa-lynn

Hartford Hospital: "Worst ER experience I have had. Spent 5 hours in ER, machines beeping and no one comes to check. Finally a doctor walking by showed me how to stop the beeping. Now the heparin drip has stopped because of machine shutting down. Again beeping for 20 min, no one checks. Called about IV needle problem at 9pm, dr came in and then went to nurse about it. Now 1 am and still nothing done about it. Any other hospital I have been in they have been in within 2/3 min of the machine beeping. Also overheard an elderly gentleman talking to them about why it takes 3 hrs to check someone out. Next time I will make sure we go to Yale, where the nurses care about their patients. When the bill comes in, think I need to deduct for my services that I had to reset machines, " - Cathy
