Halifax Health Medical Center: "I am very dissatisfied with the treatment that I received. I checked in at 9:30. My vitals were taken right away. I was brought back to the main waiting area. Two hours later I was brought back to get a ultrasound. I thought a had another blood clot. I again to the main waiting area. Where I waited another THREE!!! hours before I went back to a room. I had a CT scan and blood work done. I had a wonderful nurse named Stacy, in fact all the nurses were fantastic. My main complaint was the wait time and of course the PA. He was a DICK.. Personality Zero as his bedside manor. Thank God for the Nurse's. " - Claudette

Halifax Health Medical Center: "I recently visited the Deltona location and was very pleased frim front Reception to ER in the back. The RN Stacey was so sweet and caring. Not sure what happened once i reached Halifax Hospital in Dayona. I was in Er Rm #27. I understand it gets busy and hectic but never do i need to tolerate a rude RN. The Tech were friendly. You work witth the general public you cant be kind. April was the RN. Asked her for a draw sheet for bed or a chux for bed but she was too busy nor could did she send Tech in who is sitting at the computer. Hats off to Carrie in Ultrasound who came in gave me a chux and removed the old linen. I didnt want to "bother"April. I just deemrd to bother her. My mom is an RN as well who works at the same hosputal anf she asked me to ask her if my foot could be related to cellulitis abd she said rudely " you were here to have leg looked at not the foot. I was there to check for DVT yes, but there was swelling in my foot abd they sent me home saying follow up with your Dr. April , The RN told me to take pants off so Ultrasound could come see me and I said ok. It had been a long 2 hour wait for Transport in Deltona so I mustve been lost in a thought and she says " Were you perplexed by what i judt said? Ive never ever had that treatment from any medical professional in my life. I worked in Healthcare and still do Homecare im not stupid so dont treat me like iam. I hope this prevents her from mistreating others .Bad days happen but dont take them out on your patients !!!! My mom Judy works in Radiology. Im not a patient coming in for paun meds weekly, im not an addict. First time in the Facility. Im not a troublemaker. Both ultrasound Tech Carrie and her student were very helpful and thats how it should be. If you're burnt out get out of the profession or take a break . Oh by the way,I think she came in the room twice. Obce to tekl me to take off pants n gown up and once to have me sign discharge papers, oh she did bring a zip lock bag for my stuff. What happened to Halifax? Years ago it used to be great. Did i hit it on the wrong day ? Or did i just get a nurse that needs anattitude adjustment?? Many of the members of my family have stayed there n raved about you all.Deltona i give two thumbs up !! Go out of their way with compassion.Im really disappointed that Er Doc said "Too many cooks in the kitchen " which told me they didnt want to deal with the foot. They didnt want to over step Dr Rankins office." - Jennifer
