Glens Falls Hospital: "I have been treated here for over 3 years for pneumonia,flu,emphysema-COPD.I have always been treated very well with skill, compassion, and intelligent decisions. You do wait some, but it IS a hospital, not a supermarket. I think it is a good hospital for this upstate area." - Judith

Glens Falls Hospital: "This hospital is absolutely HORRIBLE! I’ve watched too many people go in here that never came back out. Not to mention the amount of people who have gone in to be seen and been told they were fine, only to go to a different hospital & be treated properly. Then there’s those patients who the hospital actually makes MORE sick, severe!!
1 friend went in with pelvic/testicular pain. They took a urine sample but forgot it on the counter!! After a good hour the doctor came in to tell him it was because “he was sterile”, according to his lab results, from the urinalysis. My friend laughed!! Obviously the doctor had run someone else’s urine, not his.
Another patient went in for chest pains & problems breathing. They said he had fluid in his lungs, gave him some medication & sent him on his way! He returned the next day with septis! He was paralyzed and so filled with fluid (over 100lbs of it) that they finally decided to keep him! After 3 days in ICU, he was on a breathing machine & a feeding tube. Suddenly they decided he could return home! As they were discharging him, he took a turn for the worse...now he is in a medical coma.
The way this hospital pushes out its patients, knowing they are sick and more than likely going to die, is frightening!
I could go on and on about stories of wrongful death and malpractice!!! It’s sickening to see that their ratings are up despite what the community knows about this hospital! I don’t think a single person in glens falls prefers this hospital over Saratoga hospital. We all know that if u go here, you’re more than likely going to die, unless you’re there for something minor, but then u risk being misdiagnosed.
My advice would be to enter at ur own risk...or just DON’T. Plain and simple."

Glens Falls Hospital: "I have been treated and have had family members treated at this hospital for more than 35 years. It was a positive experience until the past year. In recent months the ER waiting time has drastically increased. Customer service is now almost non-existent. " - Ben
