Geneva General Hospital: "12/5/21 My fiance Gordon Murphy was brought in with high vitals and altered state of mind. I talked to the Dr and explained his a drinker and took pain pills not his own. I stood on the outside of the room because they said I couldn't see him.They were asking him simple question s he couldn't answer I went to see him and he didn't know who I was. I stepped out our daughter went back they took him for a cat scan and he tried hitting and throwing a nurse.Our daughter is 28 she was very upset seeing her dad behave the way he. I went back with him by now a security guard is sitting with us. They give him something to calm didn't work security guard said his fitting it. I get now he wasn't fighting it didn't work on him. He wasn't calm the whole time but he wwas getting it anyways. They took him back for a cat scan again he stood up on the table. Brought back to the room he Was restless the whole time. We were sitting finally seeming calm. He came off the bed wasn't sure what he was doing it took five of us to keep him on the bed. I rethink he cwasnt verbally hence why he peed on me. Nurse Justin said he would keep giving him chemicals so he didn't have to do the paperwork. Finally Gordon seemed calm I was told he was stable I could leave I left against my better judgement. Was maybe little over an hour I get a call he isn't stable coded twice 5 min then 2 min put the ventilator on. Im told he had low sodium and pnemonia he a aspirated. We were allowed to visit with him until once again he was stable.I was allowed to sit in the waiting room. Gordon's come asked the receptionist to talk to someone should said a nurse would be 1 he no nurse then she told her a Dr would come talk to us. 3 hrs nobody. I asked her how she would feel 3 hrs and no real answer answers. She couldn't talk about that she told me he wasn't the only patient I told her no captain obvious you uncompassionate bitch. Ne12/6/21 needless to say security guard told us we had to go on the other side of hospital until visiting hour but he wasn't moved to the ICU yet so sase ritu guard said we still couldn't see him upset by now . Finally after 1 we got to talk to a Dr and go visit with Gordon. Gordon finally settled in ICU 12/21. Fantastic Dr for 8 days. After that his Dr never called. I met Dr. Papsidero 12/17/21 to remove ventilator. He said so he come in as an overdose which took me by surprise and said no high vitals and altered state of mind. Then I explained Gordon he said server depression. Sent me to ICU waiting room said he would come talk to me he later no Dr.I called to see about going back to talk to the Dr no Dr gone. I asked about him calling me no call. I was only in contact with nurse 99% of the time. Gordon was moved to a new bed he spiked his self. It was was black tar the head nurse told Amanda don't spend time looking at it just dovo it. They had more bed transfers it was busy and a half before shift change. 12/21/21 Gordon was moved to step down ICU. I forget to mention his coded lips after ventilator removed I removed off lips. His sore on his foot he went 2 weeks withdrout boots on He went through withdrawals. Gordon was restless and grabbed with his hand. The on nurse said the Ativan they kept giving him didn't work on him. Ion 12/22/21 nurses couldn't decide on the color of his stool then decided colo. Gordon had stopped eating. I called and talked about him not getting anymore Ativan they agreed but it didn't go through Dr because 12/24/21 he received it again for not spitting out his medicine in yogurt which he was getting it with applesauce and he had already stopped eating how did the not know this someone should of relieved he wasn't eating breakfast. He had stool and echo done I still don't have results his passed now. I was told hypertension and hemorrhoid. On 12/22/23/21 Gordon sat on the edge of the bed and stood with with a walker. I had so much hope.Christmas Eve he was pain. His urine bag was at 250 for 4 Our daughter visited with him and he was in pain yelling for stomach meds and grabbing his stomach. I tried calling but couldn't get through. I received a phone call after we know he was in pain took them 24 hrs. He had a perforated bowel gastric ulcer. Bad vitals go on to surgery and coded 7 minutes surgery was still done.I had a horrible feeling they lost him on Christmas Day. WhI have more to add to this." - Jennifer
