Genesis Medical Center-Davenport: "Horrible care. I saw so many problems in the ER waiting room today By Triage and Admissions with patients getting No information or education while waiting so I observed many people scared for their lives and going elsewhere after waiting 6 hours for nothing. It was just terrible. I left and got immediate care and treatment elsewhere for a serious illness. As a former RN, who has worked in many ER's, I observed a series of serious deficiencies I could hardly believe at this location of Genesis. I recommend going to any other place, especially after 6 hours of waiting with difficulty breathing, many other conditions, to another ER or even any Urgent Care, until this Genesis ER has the staff who can at a minimum treat you as a person needing care with legitimate health issues. No person should sit fearful for their lives in a waiting room for so long. I had to jump in myself and try to calm people. It was just a bad day I suppose. No, I really don't know what the problem was." - Kristi
