Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center: "I had a start of a bad infection this hospital barley did anything knowing how serious it could be they sent me home I went to PENN MEDICINE IN PHILADELPHIA with them knowing the same thing THEY admitted me for two weeks . I can back explained I’m waiting on my medication but since my PICC line and medication was through PENN MEDICINE they routinely checked me due to other issues . Which is understandable and again I went to PENN where I was admitted until everything with my medication was set up .


Months later I came back with a drainage issue from one of my wounds on my leg EVERYTHING IS THE SAME ISSUE .
I found out I had an infection on top an infection: The DRs here tested me I GOT NO CALL AND MY CHART WAS NOT UPDATED BECAUSE I CHECK IT ALL THE TIME . It took 30 days for me to find out ny wound was infected . 30 days with out medication and I was getting worse luckily for me I had an appointment with my ID DR at PENN and he was the one who found out what was going on and treated me right away but due to their negligence everything got worse . Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center: "3 hours is BS! My mom has been waiting for over 7 hours. She has a severe infection in her foot. She is a diabetic and possibly has the flu. It’s ridiculous to have elderly people wait an entire day to be seen. I know times are tough and hospitals are busy but she was advised by her foot doctor akd her family doctor to come to er to be scheduled for surgery. Why? Why? Why can’t they schedule the surgery so it’s planned and she doesn’t have to sit here and suffer all day in pain and uncomfortable and hungry. " - Kelly

Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center: "My son is very sick. Vomiting non stop for 2 days. Not even keeping down water sips or small ice chips. He is in alot of pain and so very weak and pale. There is blood in his vomiting. But here we are for a 6 hour wait thus far. Nothing seems to matter. So upsetting and frustrated." - Cole

Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center: "I’ve been sitting with severe abdominal pain for 4 hours now and have only seen triage. This baffles me in every aspect there is. How can a hospital run its emergency room this way! And if my case wasn’t severe enough then why even make me stay longer?! Aparently I’ve picked the wrong hospital! And hopefully my condition doesn’t worsen in the meantime! " - Eileen

Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center: "Horrible staff no humanity mean people who laugh at other people’s pain as they get paid to do it I broke my tibia and fibia ankle broke I was told to go take aspirin let go at 2 am to take taxi home no help from staff how the president of that hospital let that go on amazes me in my opinion go to any other er you’ll be much safer safer safer and a happier patient " - Phillip
