Garnet Health Medical Center Stories

Orange Regional Medical Center: "Experiencing severe headache/stiff neck with swelling in back of head. Neurologist sent me to this facility for a CT scan. Signed in. After 20 mins. saw "triage" who only asked questions such as, "Are you suicidal?". Didn't even take my pulse. Sat for over 2 hrs. with alcoholics, people faking illness so they were taken sooner (only to subsequently be lost by staff) and another woman "Mary" who must have been known by staff and seen within 15 mins. She did not appear to be an emergency as she went and changed her clothes with her daughter. Told the receptionist that I was leaving and not to dare send me a bill. Last week we did in fact get a bill. Funny, how the hospital bypassed my insurance company; sending them nothing regarding this visit, just a "balance due" to me. Pretty shady huh? I am in my 60's and have NEVER experienced such a zoo as this! Absolutely horrible. Undisciplined, poor staff and management." - Donna
