Franciscan St Francis Health - Indianapolis: "I Was having a racing heart rate and chest pains, we get to the er and a lady comes in screaming and her arm is bleeding. She looked like she could pass out at any min. They left her in the er waiting room for an hour while her arm was still bleeding. I was waiting for 2 hours in pain. when they finally called my name they put me on a bed in the hallway. they ran their test and said nothing was wrong, but the next day I passed out and was back in the er with a possible concussion. I wait for another 2 to 3 hours. Then was put back out in the hallway, waited so long that I fell alseep. The same thing again, nothing is wrong with your heart, you just have a concussion so don't go to classes. I need a doctor to get out of class but the hospital would not give me one. A couple of days go by and I keep passing out, my boyfriend and friend were telling me I need to go to the hospital something is wrong but I told them no, they said nothing was wrong. The last straw was when I passed out and hit my head again. My boyfriend called 911, They check my head and said it was fine but my heart was doing something really weird and they could not let me go. So they took me to IU health and they said there was something wrong with my heart. They gave me a heart motion and then said I had a heart condition, if not treated could lead to me having a heart attack. So I recommend going to a different hospital-like IU health." - Kayla

Franciscan St Francis Health - Indianapolis: "This was the worst hospital experience of my life and I am 65 and have a lot of hospital experiences. The ER staff are inattentive, leaving a patient alone for hours. The admin staff asks you to leave if you ask any questions and refuse to tell you their names. The chaplain at this allegedly Christian hospital said to me “Why should I bother to talk to you?” The staff in admitting at the ER were rude and constantly yelling at all the patients. Once you are released they admit that they stop caring at all and don’t even follow up to see how you are doing. They lose urine specimens, give contradictory discharge instructions, and are basically rude and uncaring. With the exception of a few nurses there is no caring or compassion at all. I would avoid this hospital at all costs. " - Cheryl

Franciscan St Francis Health - Indianapolis: "Went to emergency room at 1pm. They fooled around, refused to feed me and finally admitted me at 11pm. Emergency room refused me food. I'm old. I had a fever of 101. Had to wait till 800 next day for food. They are more concerned with diversity hiring than they are about patients. Lots of those hires have NO BUSINESS working in this business. They have zero people skills, treat you poorly, do not listen and cannot think for themselves. I had one diverse employee tell me that I was disrepectin' her.....because I asked her to her job. Terrible place. " - ty

Franciscan St Francis Health - Indianapolis: "Worst hospital ever. Rude unprofessional employees . Terrible waiting room process. 9 hours for me prior to being admitted. They also refused to feed me. I went to hospital at 3pm. Did not get any food until 8am the next day. It was incompetent employees not a medical necessity. The place is dirty. They gave me an infection that is worse than the reason I was admitted. Uncaring nurse assistants, zero people skills, zero personality. But st francis gets a gold star for diversity hiring while patients become victims of theft and very bad help. Avoid this place. I would not take my dog there after my experience in the hospital.
