Franciscan St Anthony Health - Crown Point: "This hospital almost killed my mom!!!!! The more we find out what St. Anthony's did wrong, the more I start despising that hospital and the Franciscan Health Group. How the cardiology unit in this hospital can ignore clear symptoms of heart trouble when there never was heart trouble, is beyond me. The Dr in that unit should be fired on the spot for her ignorance. The more I learn about the symptoms she had and what actually happened while she was at St. Anthony's the more I despise this hospital. Very very clear symptoms of DVT after her total knee replacement and they pumped her full with saline solution which made it worse. They discharged her to me with congestive heart failure, multiple blood clots in all 5 lobes of her lungs and excessive fluid around both lungs. The next hospital I took her to took 23 LBS OF FLUID out of her!!!!!!!!! I wished this hospital did not exist. It is hands down the worst experience ever, and I cannot believe that my mom has been harmed forever by them. She survived because another hospital knew how to care for patients, but I run into others who did loose their loved ones and who will drive long distances to not have to go to this hospital. I wished I had known. And they don't care about your feedback either. They don't care to resolve the destruction they leave behind." - Sabine

Franciscan St Anthony Health - Crown Point: "It is now 9pm. My husband has been in the er since 9:30 am. He has been offered nothing to eat or drink other than water. My daughter finally got him something, probably out of the vending machine. He has no restrictions, he can eat and drink. He has had his call light on 3 different times for no less than 15 min. I have never seen such awful communication and care. Dr.streeter and Dr simic were awesome. It is the non caring and no concern attitude. Never again!" - Shannon
