Dekalb Medical Center: "I brought my daughter to Dekalb Medical Center and waited hours without seeing a doctor. While waiting, I spoke to some other patients who had been waiting for 10 or more hours. Right before we left, Security guards ran through the lobby murmuring to each other about a gun. They did nothing to clear the area before a gun went off in the Emergency Room. At that point, we fled for our safety. Worst experience ever!!!" - Arkeisha

Dekalb Medical Center: "I was 15 years old when I birthed my daughter. My parents knew that my pelvic bones were too small to have her vaginally. Not caring about the risk of me dieing or even losing my daughter they signed a waiver saying that basically still let me have my daughter vaginally instead of a cesarean just to tech me a lesson. No doctor asked me how I felt about this dangerous decision just because I was a minor. My daughter is 18 now and has been living with Cerable Palsy , intellectual disability, hearing impairment and learning disability. She had to go through a lot of therapy over the years to get where she is.I am still struggling as a parent and she's grown now.I called hospital to get record's and they say records have been destroyed...It's just make me so angry and hurts that me and my daughter had to live this tragedy all because of my parents and the cover up from the hospital. As I say to parents don't do that to your children! Give them a chance because I didn't get one!!!! I'd recommend no one to have a child or even go to that hospital because of the amount of disrespect and neglect.. I thank God everyday for keeping me and my daughter through this journey ????" - Ashley
