Elkhart General Hospital Stories

Elkhart General Hospital: "Went to ER and had taken a double dose by accident of my Eliquis and Flecainide. I asked Triage nurse if I could just talk to ER Dr first as I had no symptoms. She said no. I got to ER room and was given a EKG which I did not need The ER doctor told me I'd she had talked to me in the lobby that I would not have needed any of it. She called poison control and they told her no problem. Thanks to a narrow minded triage nurse it will cost me when it didn't need to. I'm going to try to talk to the administrator of the hospital next week!" - Greg

Elkhart General Hospital: "Staff expertise may have saved our son's life. We are so grateful! However, cubicle 25 in the ER was filthy. Spills on floor. Grime on floor was probably caused by a wet mop used without sweeping first. Sink unsanitary. We love this hospital and want to hear their cleanliness is improved. " - Carol
