Eastern New Mexico Medical Center Stories

Eastern New Mexico Medical Center: "Well after reading of the stats for this facility, they speak for themselves. I have filed my complaint up the hospital chain to an administrator who called me today(8-19-2020). My husbands visit to the ER happened 5-16-2020. Very difficult to get any customer satisfaction following their demands of going up the ladder with our complaints. Today while talking with administrator I was informed that we have to pay our copay for this horrible care, and because my husband wasn't "injured" during the visit the only recourse for horrible care was they would use our incident as a teaching tool for their staff. When you enter a hospital you loose all your rights, they can say anything to you, treat you horribly whatever, but if they do not "harm" you then everything is okay! Really! This is good healthcare? I will right reviews every where I can. This is a horrible place to seek medical care because of the behavior that is accepted by the administrative staff. Avoid this facility if you can. I pray that you will be blessed if you have no alternative but to seek care here because of the urgency of your healthcare needs. God bless us everyone." - Laura

Eastern New Mexico Medical Center: "My daughter was admitted on 3/26/20. Worst care received from the nurse on shift who thought it was perfectly acceptable to place a pee pad on the floor soaked in iron for over an hour! Then when my daughter threw up and I asked for a change of bedding felt it was totally acceptable to leave the bedding on the bed for almost an hour and a half while she was on the phone.....mind you our daughter was the ONLY patient on the peds floor. They would not allow both my husband and I in the room and we were told we were only allowed to shift care from one parent to another twice a day (every 12 hours)!! When brought to a supervisors attention my concerns were pretty much dismissed. When asked if there was another hospital that my daughter could possibly be transferred to the house supervisor walked away and told the register lady to call security if needed! Beyond irate with the quality of care and compassion ENMMC claims to have!!! " - Charlotte
