East Orange General Hospital Stories

Dec 29, 2015, 10:02 PM
East Orange General Hospital: "East Orange General hospital is a poor example set when pertaining to hospitality care to the public. Nurses are not attentive to patients immediate needs, they are aloof (don't care) to when asked a question about patient care, they have issues with patients family causing conflict and never coming up with an alternative resolution for patients. Most nurses stay at the nurses station and fail to oversee patients the hospital is in fact more than dirty but it has a strong odor on the fifth floor intensive care area. As you walk the halls, it has a strong foul odor (feces smell). Most nurses show no compassion for the patients, they feel they are doing just a job but don't take patient care seriously Some of the nurses are argumentive and will challenge you. Overall their attitude is just not befitting to the overall patient and family of patient The nursing staff makes themselves appear intimidating by stating they will call security to avoid any contact with patient family. It is really sad to see where hospitality and patient care is heading when pertaining to East Orange General. " - BOSS
