Desert Valley Hospital: "The most ridiculous wait periods I have ever seen! Horrible healthcare. I waited 7 hours for my daughter to be seen through ER. It’s literally survival of the fittest. Don’t bring your loved ones here!" - Jessica

Desert Valley Hospital: "Wait time at St. Mary's for non-critical cases from being seen to discharge is under 4 hours. Desert Valley Er is 8 hours...I am still waiting to be discharged. It has been 7 hours and it is not crowded at this time. The nurse had time to give a waiting patient water, but not to begin the discharge process." - Julie

Desert Valley Hospital: "They are understaffed. I got in pretty quickly and had my diagnosis in about 2 1/2 hours. I had acute pain abdominally and was ready to go home. After waiting 3 hours, I am still not discharged. The nurse says that it will be quite awhile before she can remove the IV taped to the inside off my arm. Just the IV needle no IV. The nurse says no she can't remove it at this time.because there is a long list of people ahead of me waiting to be seen. I would just have to wait, and it was going to be a very long wait, she said, before they would discharge me. The plastic chairs hurt my hips and lower back. The open door created a chilly draft. Go to Saint Mary's. I wish I had." - Julie

Desert Valley Hospital: "I went in at 2:30 pm today 1/1/2021. Extreme pain in lower abdominal and back regions, especially in my pelvis area. I get to submit urine sample after 1 hour and blood sample after 2 hours wait time. CT scan of my pelvis area after 3 hours. At 6 pm I was told that they are waiting for CT scan results, but I was told by a nurse that is ONLY ONE DOCTOR working in the ER today. The Rest were on vacation. It is rather strange to have ONE doctor running an ER on the day that higher than normal Injuries from the night before is expected. It is now 930 pm and I’m still waiting for the doctor to Read my CT scan if I need to be admitted into the hospital. I am leaving the hospital in pain where my mother has to drive me home. I was told that I was 6th in line, but since And I quote “you are not dying” , they do not know when the doctor will read my CT scan for further treatment." - Jessica
