Delray Medical Center: "My wife was taken to Delray Medical Center after an injury. She was given a bed in the ER. Not seen by the medical or nursing staff for hours. She was ignored. When I questioned the nursing staff, I was told to go back into the room because I had no right being in the hallway asking questions . Very unprofessional. The worst hospital er to be in. A day in a half later my wife was moved to a room in the heart unit. Her tests were mixed up with the other patient in the room. A complete disaster. Glad she was released to go home. The worst hospital to be admitted to. " - Jack

Delray Medical Center: "I am 97 years old and was admitted into hospital through the ER. Although I had 2 doses of Pfizer & the booster I contracted COVID through BOTH of my aides. Both the PCR & the at home rapid tests showed positive. I was able to obtain the monoclonal antibodies. Although the wait time took a long time I want to acknowledge the RN Maksim who took care of me in the ER. I was admitted at 2:30 pm & discharged after 10:00pm . He administered the antibodies to me, provided additional blankets, helped me with the bathroom, kept calling the pharmacy to see why my medicine had not arrived, and took my oxygen levels several times. He did an excellent job and I was fortunate to have him take care of me. " - Fred

Delray Medical Center: "Ambiance take me to ER last night 10:30, didn’t see dr tell after 12:00. My blood pressure was 202/96, and heart was afib. Paramedics said I needed to go to hospital, they did a ekg, said hospital would do another, also blood work and check red swollen left arm and black and blue bruise in above the swollen arm. Dr didn’t check me except looked at arm. And left. Nurse give me a pill 1hour later. I asked if I was for infection in arm, she she foe swelling to go down. Then he would see what to do next. A haft a hour later she said I’m discharged. She give me papers saying I can resume all activities, put ice on arm and if still red and swollen after 2 days go to primary dr.” Why did I go to hospital “. I have two valves and pacemaker. I have pafib and I’m 79. It’s sad, the dr just didn’t care enough to ask question about health history. Or didn’t check to see if I had I infection or blood clot. And I asked to go to Delray Hospital, way to understaffed. By the way, I sat in hall for over 3 hours.. I thank God for watching over me. If I were your mother, would this be acceptable. I wish I could have written a praise report!" - Arlene
