Deaconess Hospital: "I went in on Feb 7,2018 with flu symptoms. I went in they took my vitals and did a flu test. It didn't surprise me it came back positive. I was in severe pain. Even my eyeballs were pounding. The trip was a waste of my insurance. They didn't do Shit for me. The only thing they said to do is take Tylenol. I have a 5 year old at home and a older mother. The least they could have done was write me a script fot Tamiflu. We usually get the flu shot but with this strain I was told it's only being 10% effective I didn't see the point. This is the first time I've ever had the flu and I hope it's the last. I am worried for my son and at the first sign or symptom I'm taking him to Sacred Heart Children's Hospital. I left the emergency room uncomfortable, miserable, and untreated." - Amanda

Deaconess Hospital: "September 2012, I drove my husband to the Deaconess Hospital because he was given a medication from his primary doctor(GroupHealth), He was really sick. Deaconess refused to tell me what was wrong with my husband, the next morning our son went up and called me and said dad is not doing good. I ran up to the room and found my husband's stomach bloated and blood pressure not in normal range. I ask what was going on and again nobody would give me answers. My husband died from the result of the medication that was prescribed by the Group Health doctor which raised my husband blood sugar over 2200. The hospital again covered the primary doctor. My husband had a change of condition which was he was not putting out urine in the middle of the night, they never contacted me about this change at all. I will never use this hospital and recommend for others not to use it. I am still waiting to go to court over this. In 2013 my grandmother went for a urinary track infection, they held her in the hospital as they were forcing her to live in assisted living facility. They held her blood pressure medication, which caused her to have a stroke which taking her speech, vision and swallowing. They hurried and transferred her to rehab and in two weeks she died." - Ostennia

Deaconess Hospital: "Had an ED visit 5/28/17 - arrived by ambulance. I have cancer and had suffered from diarrhea all day. The nurses helping made fun of the stool on
My legs. When I asked for clean pants one of the male aides threw them in my room and they landed on the floor. When I told him I could not pick them up off the flip he told me to deal with it and get out as I was discharged. I was humiliated and embarrassed and did not deserve this treatment. I can't help that I am sick."

Deaconess Hospital: "When i got off work at 11pm i found out my friend is at the er so i rushed over. My friend and annother coworker arived at the hospital around 9pm. You would think that the hospital boasting about their 30 minnute or less waiting times would have seen them by now but i am writing this I am still sitting in the waiting room at 2:30am and my friend hasn't even been talked to since I arrived. For this kind of service I could have just driving the hour and a half to Pullman where there is a decent hospital" - Allen
