Christus Spohn Hospital Beeville: "Traveling from Corpus my Son (Kevin) had a Kidney Stone, the closes Hospital was Beeville.
Being, a Hour ahead of Him.
I made a quick turn around and headed towards the Hospital.
As I approached the Hospital,I found out by another crew member of ours that my Son had been waiting in the waiting room to be seen. As I entered the emergency Room,Kevin
just entered the admission Office..
I asked the Nurse how long was this going to take,She replied that Kevin will need to have a CT Scan..I responded how long would it take,She said She didn't know.
The Nurse said there were no Rooms available..Having seen a Urgent Care down the Road,I went and found that there were no Doctors on Staff.Coming back to Beeville Hospital, I found that they finally did a CT Scan on Kevin, once again I asked the Nurse what would be the timeframe, Her response was that it depending on if a Ambulance came in or Prisoners from the Prison came in? She said that there is only one Doctor on Staff and we are backed up in the waiting Room.As 2 Elderly Ladies were leaving I asked them how long had they been waiting to see the Doctor,7 hours they replied. We decided it best to head to Kenedy Hospital. Beeville Hospital said they would forward Kevin's CT Scan. After 2 Hrs and 4 Phone calls Beeville finally sent over Scan.Kenedy was a Orderly,Respectful,Clean,Professional, new Hospital, just opposite of Beeville Hospital who are under Staffed, disrespectful, unconcerned of their Patients. My opinion bypass this facility head to Kenedy. Most bad things start from the top."
