Chestnut Hill Hospital: "Chestnut Hill Hospital, won’t test a patient for Covid-19 unless they are being admitted in the hospital and put on a ventilator, or maybe they won’t test black people. I just read my discharge papers and noticed they changed the reason(s) I came to the hospital: Chest pain, trouble breathing, headache, sore throat, pain in my extremities, and a nasty cough. However, my discharge papers said “reason for visit” -cough. “Diagnosis” - cough with exposure to COVID-19 virus. The funny part is I’ve been isolating for months, so how could they determine I had exposure, yet refused to give me a test for it???
I was in the ER, for covid symptoms. My treating physician asked me: “you know what’s going around? You probably have coronavirus. But we can’t test you unless you needed to be admitted to be on a ventilator.” The doctor was nice. He said “if it were up to me, I’d give you the test, and everyone else that had symptoms.” 5/3/20 8:25am. The staff warned me that this might happen. They only test patients that need ventilators. It’s unethical, wrong, and misleads and shadow the actual number of Covid-19 infections. My home hospital Chestnut Hill is Trash.. God bless us all."

Chestnut Hill Hospital: "My visit to the ER was very pleasant i know thats an usual descriptive word for a trip to the hospital, but from the traaige to discharge was amazing . I seen within 10 min. of signing in. My nurse was very explanitive of was going on . My doctor was out of sight , his bedside manner was awesome he took all of my anxiety and fear out of my visit. He explained every test and every result in detail. Chestnut Hill Hospital: "Chestnut Hill is like a roach motel. Every time I'm admitted they drag their feet so they can keep me long enough to make their money. The mismanaged my diabetes and I truly think I'll die here because it's a money making prison" - Elzabwty

Chestnut Hill Hospital: "Presently being held prisoner here cleared by all physicians except infectious disease Dr Dolan whose bedside manner is that of Joseph Mengele. Told I was discharged and then sentenced to two more days in this shit hole of a hospital. I'm their Guinea pig and their prisoner. They've taken all my personal effects including my clothing and refuse to release me. " - A

Chestnut Hill Hospital: "Chestnut Hill Hospital- Phila PA. Surgery scheduled for last Tuesday Aug 16th, got a call 2 hours before I was to report stating surgery was canceled and directed to call "scheduler" to reschedule. Did as was told, "scheduler" doesn't offer and apology or explanation. Said she would call me back. That never happened. Next day, I called "scheduler" in the am and she sounded annoyed and said as soon as she hears for the doctor, she would call me. That never happened. I called the "scheduler" after 1pm for status. She asked, was I available tomorrow for surgery. I replied, of course. She said, I would receive a call after 2pm with arrival time info. Received call as planned a little after 2pm. Received a call 1 hour and a half before my scheduled time and was informed surgery was cancelled. I called the "scheduler" Thursday and received a brush off. I have left messages twice with the "scheduler" with no response. This is absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional. I have questions! I understand issues may arise but be honest and keep patients informed! I was billed for pre-op services that are set to expire. " - Latania
