Carteret General Hospital: "Not feeling well
1. SEVERE JOINT PAIN IN SHOULDERS,  HIPS, LEFT KNEE AND BOTH ANKLES...
2 LEFT OF BELLY BUTTON PAIN
3. DIFFICULTY BREATHING

I arrived at Carteret hospital at about 1130am today at the urgency of my New Bern urgent care Dr who claimed that my 91 of O2 levels worried him so much that he preferred that I Go to the ER immediately.. I Could've and should've went to Craven ER, bc it was closer,  but I choose to drive 45 mins out the way bc I believed I would get better carE here at CARTERET. I was sadly MISTAKEN & discharged of that belief today! The  NEW BERN Dr gave me documentation to present showing the urgency of my ailment for my arrival he even offered ambulatory service to get me there quickly... upon my arrival to Carteret No one showed Empathy to my distress,  except the admin lady who came out to wheel me in. My son and I Waited in the lobby until 3:45pm we were about to leave when a make nurse cans up to get us and take us to the back.. just to sit me in a Most uncomfortable chair in the back when my hip, back, and buttocks pain was my top complaint! which was never address.. after blood work and Xray no one came to check on us since.. until 630pm when I got irate from waiting so long and promises that I would get a room soon.. so at 630pm when I called to be discharged and have someone remove my IV.. Then all of the sudden the staff got very busy trying to take care of me.. my son and I are starving and i am in an extreme amount of pain in My hips area .. I guess since I wasn't crying and screaming to bring me poison and distress to my body.. no one paid us any attention at least not enough to at least check in me.. even though everyone on the new shift now got busy helping we were still there until about 8pm when my son and I just walked out.. thankful the Dr did say all blood and cray looks clear...I was thankful it took 8 hours to read be results to test taken at 4pm
Ish.. which they tried to reorder bc no one knew they already took midst of them.. I am grateful to the 2nd shift for acting quickly but that whole first shift was handling things horrible.. my sister and my nephew had the same boring delayed experience and lake of care and compassion during there visit.. I guess if your team is to dark.. you are an invaluable patient to be attended too.. in less then 8hrs without demand.. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED GREATLY! I LOVED BUBBLE BEE ???? LINDA..TY"
