Bon Secours-St Francis Xavier Hospital: "I am very dissatisfied with the extremely worst care I received at Francis ER on Dec 27-Dec 28 overnight. I came in with very severe leg cramps, explosive like headache, nausea and vomiting, clothes soaked with vomit, has been vomiting in the car. They wheeled me in a room, hooked me to gadget, did not show me where the call bell was. So a lady came in and ask me all this questions while I am in so much pain, I was begging them please given me something for my pain is 30 out of scale from 1 to 10. So miserable I told her my clothes is wet full of vomit but was ignored. I told pls send my husband here. They don't know where my husband is. Then she left I was vomiting and could not find the call bell, I was calling out, I hear people laughing outside, nobody came for I thought a long time. Someone finally came and ask me same question again and I said I am having a explosive headache and seem like I've been waiting here for so long, and she said to me it is just 23 mins since you got here, but I said 23 min seem eternity when you are having extreme pain. Finally I think about 45 mins to 1 hr a lady walked in and told she is giving me med. I have to ask her what she is giving me. They seem so uncaring, no compassion. I felt so miserable. I was still in so much pain, It seem like a very long time until someone came back to the room, and I said I am still having so much pain, pls give me something else. I was also vomiting pls give me a pan to vomit in and also said again my clothes is full of vomit, she said there is bag at your side and then ask where the call bell was and seem like annoyed voice she said it is in the bed. Never showed me where it's at and I was feeling/searching for it because I could not opened my eyes due to severe headache, it hurt to open my eyes. I did not find it. She went out, then she came back I don't know exactly when but seem so long since I was still in so much pain, also I was begging them to send my husband here, she finally came back with IV pain med, I have to ask what she giving me, she said Diluadid .5mg. I was knocked out, I woke up still have some pain but slightly better, I needed to urinate. Finally my husband was in the room (he has been waiting in the waiting room since we got there, he was told to wait there until they get him, they never called him until towards the morning he talk to the guard to ask what is going on with me. Which I been requesting to send my husband in since I got there, and nobody did anything about it. I needed very badly to urinate towards the morning after receiving IV fluids, I could not find the call light, my husband finally in the room and found the call light and called the nurses station, that I needed to urinate very badly. I waited and waited for someone to come but nobody came, but I can hear people laughing loudly outside. Finally my husband has to walk to nurses station that I really need to urinate. Someone came uncaring attitude wanted me to walk to the bathroom which is located the other side of my room across the nurses station. I said I do not have the strength to walk with all the pain meds, leg cramps and hesitantly gave me the bedpan, She stand in there and so I ask her to help me roll over, I felt so weak, from everything and strong pain med, she stand there did not help, finally finished and my husband walked again to nurses station to tell them I am finished, when someone came in I told them the bedpan overflow and myself and bed is wet, but was ignored. So I have been laying in the stretcher all night with clothes soak with vomit and now laying there with urine. I told them but was totally ignore. I felt that nobody seem to care, thank God my husband was there towards the morning. I was there in ER before and my care was satisfactory. This night my care was horrible the worst in my life. No compassion, ignored, helpless. If I can help it I will never come to St Francis ER again. I need to talk to someone there, because I feel I have to say it in person. I felt very disappointed and very traumatized with the ER experienced at St Francis, Dec 27 to Dec 28, 2017. I was so sick to get their names. Bella Gates 843 437 1015

Bon Secours-St Francis Xavier Hospital: "Usually have and hour wait to be triage and then another hour to get into a room. Brought my wife here today to get x-rays on her hand. We have been in triage already, but ha e been here going on 3 hours, and have NOT seen a doctor yet. This is absolutely ridiculous. The medical professionals(?) Here have no idea what it means to work and bust their ass. I can't believe how slow they walk around here, there is not ONE person who walks like they have a purpose. It's like they think they are here 8 hours no matter what, so they can take their time. VERY UNSATISFIED. Only here because she likes the surgeons, etc. But from now on, go to Trident if you want to be seen before 2-3 hours." - dave
