Scott & White Hospital-Round Rock: "This was my first time at Round Rock's BSW Hospital, and I'll never go back (to ER dept). I've been to a lot of docs/hospitals past 12 yrs, and BSW ER was the worst place. I'm I was there total 7 hours: 4+ hrs was waiting in lobby. Front triage seemed preoccupied and overwhelmed. Left me alone in the triage office area for about 15+/- minutes, had me wondering if she forgot about me. I appreciated them having football on lobby TV, instead of news. All clinics should do that. Once in room, had more waiting. Crazy part, I never saw a nurse. Not once. Registration came in, she was nice. The doctor came in for about 3 minutes, talked about a test, then out he went. He was nice, but just felt rushed. Radiology was about a half to an hour after doc, she was quiet and standoffish. Other than that, no one came to check on me or see if I needed something or if I had questions. I was really surprised about that. Radiology came and went, and then I had another long wait for results. Finally doc came in about 1.5 hour later with results. Another wait for discharge papers, and still no nurse. Got to hospital at noon and left after 7. Just a bad experience all around. Most of the staff at the BSW Temple location are pretty amazing. That's a place I don't mind driving an hour for. " - SS
