Floyd Medical Center: "I took my 2 year old in for breathing complications due to asthma and the flu. We told the staff that she had the flu and asthma and needed help breathing she was choking on vomit from coughing and couldn't catch her breath. They gave her a flu test and came back after 3 hours to tell us she had the flu we pointed out we knew that and told them and repeated why we were there i was told by a pa that because of her age they WOULD NOT be helping her or giving her anything I was also told by the same pa to stop her asthma treatmemts because it was makingg things worse...good thing i bothered her pediatritian at home because that was potentially fatalinstructions. Turns out after complaing and calling everyday to the hospital there wete pediatricians she should have and could have called and my daughter shoukd have been held over night. I am currently in a dispute with floyd medical center they also insist on charging me to not help us which is silly it is not customary to pay for services you didnt receive. Ive been told several tomes they are going to stop billing they have admitted fault but they refuse to update me and while they keep assuring me ill hear back from them i always have to be the one to reach out. So far i have not seen that they are resolving this problem. " - Bethany
