Anna Jaques Hospital: "My dad has been in the emergency room for 3 days waiting for a bed for the psychiatric ward. To help with his dementia meds. I have called all levels of people from VP. Of Nursing to everyone else I can. I am so furious how is he being taken care of. Is he being cleaned properly. Did they just put him in a room and forgotten about him. Why did he not be put in a hospital room until they could move him. I am so upset I can't put it in words. If I taken him home they say he won't get a bed.It is now Friday what happens now the weekend. I don't get it! My dad does not deserve to be treated this way. He is a vet and served his country. This is not to much to ask to give him a room!
I was told by a nurse that Anna Jaques has a psychiatric ward in their hospital but they couldn't give him a bed!
