American Fork Hospital: "Came into the ER with chest pain and have waited for almost an hour while other patients have gone back. I was told they didn’t have any rooms available but apparently they don’t have any rooms for me. If I could give this ER a negative star review it would be too good. Judgemental and do not deliver a duty of care to all patients. " - Jill

American Fork Hospital: "We took a family member in for multiple long and repetitive grand seizures. The ER did her blood work and tested her urine- no MRI was done because it was "late". She had another seizure in front of one of their staff while trying to get to the restroom. It was shortly after this seizure- in front of staff- that they discharged her as "stable". A short time (minutes) after being discharged, when attempting to get to her front door, she collapsed again, having multiple seizures in a row, but this time wasn't breathing when she went under. We decided to take her to the U instead. And when I called to tell the AF ER nurse to tell her what had happened, the woman on the other end was very cold and short with me. All she said was "she was stable when we discharged her". I think they sent her away because they didn't want to monitor her because she didn't have insurance. I'm not sure why else they would discharged her while she was still in that condition. It was made worse because it was so late at night and no one else (like a doctor or urgent care) was open to help her. We went in for help with our loved one and walked out in worse shape and with a massive bill. It's infuriating and heartbreaking." - Jessica
