Alexian Brothers Medical Center: "Worest ER experience ever. Their priority is billing and administration paperwork. You will wait in a tiny waiting room for about an hour just to give then your name / insurance info. Then told to go sit a waiting room with all the people with illnesses like Covid, heart attacks, strokes, open bleed wounds. You will sit in this waiting room about 1-1.5 hrs just to see a nurse to ask “what brings you here today”. Take your vitals and tell you to go back to the waiting room. Do not expect to see an ER doctor or get an ER bed at this location. I went to the ER with severe shortness of breath, chest pains and nausea. Never saw an ER doctor or ER bed. Was examined and released all from the waiting room." -

Alexian Brothers Medical Center: "After visiting my regular Dr, she sent me to ER Alexian Brothers . Got ther at 12:45 and did not have my Ct, blood work etc until 5 . I needed to use their bathroom facilites where patients are being treated , and to my disgust the bathroom was old and awfully dirty . Management needs to improve and take care of modernizing this facility . It’s obvious their equipment is super old and do not look clean . Does not compare to facilities . " - Sonia

Alexian Brothers Medical Center: "ER staff unprofessional and the department lacks HIPAA compliance with other patients walking THROUGH the intial checkin exam area. I have never been to such an unorganized place of healthcare! When an elderly person comes into er with shortness of breath and extreme swelling in legs and active irregular heartrate tou don't send them to sit in the waiting room for hours. Do NOT come to this ER!" - Ellen
