Advocate Christ Hospital & Medical Center: "I hate that I’m even leaving a bad review. The fact that the wait is THIS long is so absurd a lawsuit is on its way, if not already pending. They have no system for TRUE emergencies. I’ll never come here again." - Asia

Advocate Christ Hospital & Medical Center: "If I could give this hospital 0 stars I would. This children hospital was the best back when I was younger maybe 11 years ago, now it is just so ghetto! The front desk in emergency don’t even let you finish your sentences. In the waiting area it was beyond packed and there were just rude people . A lady was blasting music knowing that there were sick little kids trying to rest because CLEARLY they are sick… no one removed her .. when I went into triage the nurse seemed intoxicated she kept asking me the same questions shortly after she had already asked me and proceeded to stay oh yes my bad you already told me . Now she also gave my 20lb/8 month baby 5ml of 100 mg of Motrin!! Keep in mind 100mg is considered children’s Motrin I did my research called my doctor my baby was supposed to only receive 2.5 ml…. PLEASE FOR THE SAFTEY OF YOUR CHILDREN DO NOT GO HERE

YES I AM Going to seek suing"

Advocate Christ Hospital & Medical Center: "I’ve been waiting in this ER for chest pain since 6pm on 4/27/2022. It is now 3am on 4/28/2022. The intake was prompt. I got an EKG, Vitals taken, an X-ray, and blood work all within an hour that I got here. But I have not seen the doctor as of yet and it’s been 9 hours and still counting. My chest pains are coming and going and I feel a tightness in my chest. I’ve been praying and a sad king others to pray for me because I fear this will lead to a heart attack. I did feel confident that if something like that happens I’ll be in good hands at this hospital but now, I’m not sure. Will they just let me suffer? I know I’m not the only person here waiting on medical attention however do do feel that it’s ridiculous that we all have to wait 10 plus hours to be seen in an ER. I don’t have to go to ER much but in my past, going the the ER does take time to be seen but never even close to the 9+ hours I had to wait here.
And another thing, if you get hungry and you will because of the long hours, they tell you if you leave to get something to eat that you will miss your time. When ask if they can let the person know who’s calling your name that you’ll be right back, I was told that they can’t do that. So if you don’t have anyone to bring you nothing to eat then you will starve but you will have water. And I saw a staff member force a patient to wake up because they were not allowed to sleep in the ER. Christ Hospital ER keep you for long hours, tell you you can’t get relaxed, and will not allow you to get something to eat when you get hungry. I’m appalled and utterly disgusted "

Advocate Christ Hospital & Medical Center: "This hospital needs to be investigated for their actions. I filed a State and Federal complaint and the hospital has tried to lie and coverup their actions and attacked me personally because I filed the complaints. I have all of the proof to back up my statements in reference to their lies if anyone is interested. The State found the hospital to be outside of their policies and their response was simply to attack me as the mother/legal guardian of the patient. They should be stopped!" - Linda
