Murray Medical Center: "I had the worse experience of my life their last night. I went around 9pm. I was having horrible stomach pain. It was so bad I could hardly walk! I couldn't even check in. My mom had to give them my information. I was sitting in the waiting room moaning in pain. They took several people back in front of me. Until eventually It was 2 patients left. Me and another couple. At 11:30pm I was still waiting. I was getting worse and worse. I felt like my stomach would explode. I continued to ask how much longer. At 10:00 they lied to me and said I was next. Then at 11:30 they said "I don't know". I was horrified! My mom was so worried, she told the lady we have to call an ambulance! who calls an ambulance from an emergency room? Why would you have to? It was horrible. Besides having my child, I have never been in that much pain! Well we left. We had no other choice. I was crying by this time. The moan had turned to a scream! My 10 year old son was crying. All I could do was scream! So my mom drove me to Gordon Hospital. As soon as I got their, they hurried to take my information, put me in a wheel chair and took me straight back. I was crying and vomiting. I was screaming in pain. They had no rooms. So they put me in a psyc bed they had open. They sent a nurse in right away to get an I.V. started and pain medicine. It was 4 hours from the time I left home until I got any help. But I had no wait at all at Gordon. I don't understand what happen at Murray. But I will never go back! It was horrible. How could they leave a person with stomach pain, moaning, in the waiting room for 3 and a half hours? I had to have dye ran through my stomach and a scan. A blood test, a urine test, and vital signs. My diagnosis was an infection in my lower stomach and colon. I was also bleeding from my buttox. I am now on three medications for 14 days. I don't even know what to say to thank Gordon Hospital. They are the best Hospital I have ever been to. Even though they had no rooms and no help, they refused to leave me in the lobby. They care about their patients. They were short handed to, but they handle it better. I would never take anyone to Murray Medical Center. They are unorganized. They can't handle being overloaded with patients. They need allot of work to get up to the efficiency level of Gordon Hospital. My experience at Murray Medical Center Emergency room in Chatsworth Georgia is one I will never forget. It was like a nightmare!!!!" - Amanda

Murray Medical Center: "I have had one of the worst episodes in my life with Murray Medical Center Chatsworth Ga. My Grand daughter who has lived with me for the past 2 years and on and off for the fifteen years of her life was taken there by me to be seen due to the fact she had taken 15 zolofts. I was upset to began with. So I take her in leave my car running at the front door. they call a nurse to get her . I go back to move my car , Come back in go to the back ask where she is not knowing if she is going to be ok are not.
When two nurse's look at me and say we don't have her here. WE DONT HAVE HER HERE? I said she went with a nurse back here. then I get a smart reply we are the nurse's. Okay by that time I an mad and upset. Why could you not say your Grand Daughter is okay if you will sit in the lobby we will let you know what is going on.
To make a long story short I was asked to leave . Leaving a 15year old that had overdosed alone. Then about a hour and a half later her mother shows up. And that was fine.
Lack of compassion . Lack of professional behavior , Lack of common since. That is how I rate Murray Medical. " - Deborah
