Unm Hospital: "I took my brother to the ER one week after having surgery due to some concerns, and the ER was recommended by his surgeon's office. The waiting room was a dirty mess. The staff was RUDE and uncaring. Got there about 3:30 pm, at some point they drew blood and took him for a CT scan, then sat him back in the waiting room. At 8:44 they hollered his name and then told us they called him 3 times and we didn't answer so they had to put him back in the registration que. NOT TRUE, we never left the waiting room, and no one had called us until then. I tried speaking to the nurse and she totally ignored me, would not give me her name and her badge was turned where you could not see it. When we did finally get back hours later, the dr said there were no rooms and was just going to see us in the hallway. As a patient was leaving a room, he asked the nurse if the room was free, she said yes, and he took us in there without having the room sanitized. Overall, it has been the worst medical experience I have ever encountered, I understand it is busy but the dirtiness and no respect for patient privacy is a big concern. A person could die waiting in that place or catch something they didn't go in with. DO BETTER UNMH ER!" - Chris

Presbyterian Hospital: "The worst hospital. Staff in the ER doesnt know how to triage, people with serious conditions wait well over 4 hours before being seen. People with debillitating pain are overlooked as well as children. The staff in the ER is completely incompetent. Not to mention yhe antiquated ER. No point of care testing in the ER to speed up payient care and the security team is so unprofessional talking internal business loud where patients can hear. Go to Lovelace. This is not the hospital to entrust your life or family members to. I had to listen to patients scream and moan in pain while being overlooked and not cared about. Whats the purpose of triage?" - Darrin
