These are the average time from entering the ER to being admitted to the hospital by a doctor. In a busy ER, patients will be seen by a triage nurse first. Then the wait time will vary by severity, and how busy the ER is at the time of day. Patients with less serious problems could have substantially longer waits.

There is a 206 minute wait difference between the fastest ER in Maricopa and the slowest.

: "Truthfully it's not about the wait time, it's all about the outcome! Short wait at Crouse (via ambulance) but they did nothing for hours then discharged. Drove to Upstate ER 6 hours later and after 2 hour wait they cauterized and have been fine since...Take me to Upstate!" - bud

: "i went to Memorial Mission in Asheville NC...THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!
I live 8 minutes from the hospital..arrived at 6:08 pm on 1/11/2023 waited an hour in line just to see a nurse to check in..then waited another hour just to see triage nurse who was very nice took my blood for lab and urine..he then gave me an IV of fluid and nausea meds to wheel me back into the waiting room for my long 8 hour wait..to never see a doctor. Nurses could not or would not tell anyone what the hold up was. rude and nasty to everyone..finally had enough told the nurse at the desk to take out my Iv in my arm i was going home. her words were what's your name..told her and as i turned to leave she said to me hope you feel better soon. I turned around and told her what do you care?? If you did care for anyone of us you would get off your ass and find out how much longer until we see a doctor. instead you sit there rude and nasty eating and chatting with the other nurses on duty laughing while we all are suffering and sick. i walked out the door. NEVER RECOMMENDED THEM FOR ANYONE!! I used to hold memorial mission hospital in buncombe county to be the BEST...NOT ANYMORE!!

A gentleman in his 70"s sitting next to me told me he suffered a heartattack a week ago..returned with chest pain...he had been there 8 hours before i even arrived and still wasn't seen before i keft. this man could of died in the ER and no one even batted an eye to help him.
Doctors coming off elevators and stairs with coffee drinks and delivery food...yet no one was being taken back to be seen.

Triage nurses walking around checking vitals every hour asking us if we had any changes in the past hr since seeing them. Screaming peoples names as the walk around.

DO BETTER MISSION!!!"
