Umass Memorial Medical Center Inc: "We waited in the Emergency room for a total of 17 Hours for my husband who has heart issues!!!
The Emergency room I remember was the very Best!!
Now you have No fast track for children !!!
Unbelievable!!
Parents with all their children with them because they had no one to watch their other children!!
Police have a holding room that is viable to everyone!! Out of Control
People!! They should not be there in a hospital waiting room for all to see!! Not enough rooms for patients to move up to the hospital floors !! You need a special place on any of the walk in clinics that are open 24 hours for theses children and their parents. We are Senior Citizens my husband is 83 and I am 76/ I waited also and he was admitted/ 20 hours till being seen/ 1 day in holding!! Till up to room !!
Something is very very wrong at U Mass Lake!!
Not enough help I. ER mit please find any place for the people that are being guarded by the police just totally felt like a 3rd World Country!! Shame on you for building another medical school and not enough money for Emergency care

Umass Memorial Medical Center Inc: "Beyond disgusted with this entire facility. Had spine surgery less than 4 days ago and due to an accidental situation during the surgery am not supposed to be upright and also with restrictions of my spine surgery o should not be stuck in a chair I made this known to er nurses for them to show no compassion and just leave me. Sitting there talking about no beds. I’ve seen people in beds in hallways in both umass hospitals so that’s bull. I am sure there wasn’t a room but I wouldn’t have cared if they put me on a cot in the middle of the waiting room. I just couldn’t be upright. Tried calling on call ortho dr multiple y times with not a single call back over two hrs despite them being the ones who told me to go. Just all around disgusting treatment. I left without being seen as did several others " - Katherine
