Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano: "Presbyterian hospital of Plano failed to diagnose cancer or a fractured rib in spite of doing CT scans. I pointed to the painful rib and said I was concerned about metastatic cancer. The ER doc ordered a CT chest that did not go down far enough to show the rib in question. I told the ER doc and nurse I thought the CT was not taken of the right area. They both denied it. Such arrogance not to double check for the truth. They had no diagnosis for the rock hard painful lump in my back even though I told them I was a cancer patient and I wanted to rule out metastatic disease. Interestingly, a CT of the abdomen done for another issue one month before at this hospital showed the cancer but the radiologist missed it. This is the third radiological procedure that has been grossly in error at this hospital. I would strongly recommend against anyone going to this hospital for any reason." - John

Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano: "Daughter went in the ER at 1PM. Sat in waiting room with covid patients, she is negative for covid and was in due to Hep A. Waited until 7:30 PM to get a room which was going to be in ER all night. When in room finally, no one checked on her except for initially, no one asked her if she needed anything to drink or eat....she had been there SEVEN hours. They put her in the room, connected her to monitors and fluids. This was the doctor’s recommendation that she be “monitored”. Can’t wait to see what how much this bill will be for substandard care and I will dispute it. I’m very disappointed with the service, I expected better with Presby. Let me add that while in the ER , in the back where the rooms were, it wasn’t as if they were over-flowing with patients from what I could tell. I’ve worked in ER’s throughout the metroplex and I’m aware of what busy looks like. " - Jeanne
