St Petersburg General Hospital Stories

St Petersburg General Hospital: "My mother in law arrived at hospital by ambulance at 2:00am Friday morning with a broken leg, she is in her ‘70s. She was moved from ER to a room at 9:30pm. Food, drink and IV fluids were withheld from her until 11:00pm. Our calls and messages to charge nurses went unanswered.
Meds were prescribed for pain. We were told she was on surgery schedule for Saturday, but no surgery. Minimal testing, X-ray! Nurse did not check on her in her room on Saturday until 10:00am! Is this kind of treatment legal? Almost 24 hours without food, drink or IV fluids! No communication with medical staff! Zero attention from nurses or doctor!
Do not go to this hospital if you are sick!" - Charlene
