Southeastern Regional Medical Center: "I went to visit a family member who was suppose to be receiving treatment at this hospital facility. She came in by medic unit at 8:30 pm because she could not breathe she waited essentially all night before seeing a doctor, which consisted of a hand shake and a introduction. She was admitted and received a bed around1200 pm the following. As of 930 pm the following day she has yet to see a doctor. She asked the nurses when she would see a doctor, they could not provide her any information. My family member can sit at home on oxygen and take antibiotics. At least then she not her insurance company would not be getting ripped off. To be fair, the nurses have been nice but where are the doctors, physicians assistants and nurse practitioners. I feel that if someone is sick enough to be admitted into the hospital they should at least know what is going on and be contacted by a doctor. I will never suggest this facility to anyone, give me Cape Fear Valley any day. At least you will see a doctor in a timely manner and your bed sheets won't be full of holes. I wished I could attach pictures. Absolutely ridiculous. " - Hill
